Sitting high atop a craggy outcrop on Kilmarnock Head, this fully private cottage is nestled among spruce, cedar and hardwoods. Its wrap-around deck overlooks the beauty of McCann Cove and can be accessed from the dining and living rooms and the cozy library. The library can second as an extra bedroom with its two futon couches. There is a main floor bedroom with queen-size bed, as well as a bath with a large, walk-in shower. The diningroom table has extra leaves if guests want to invite friends in for an evening meal. The kitchen is fully equipped, and sports a glass-topped stove and microwave.

The master bedroom features a queen size bed and a sliding door onto a private deck. The second upstairs bedroom has a double bed. The upstairs bath has a tub and shower. For those who need to do a little work while on vacation, there is an office area with a separate phone line for dial up internet service.

There is a washer and dryer for added convenience. The property has a private path down to the water’s edge and the area is very pleasant for walking.
